Joshua Small is the founder of Kito, a mineral sunscreen built around chitosan, a fungal-origin biomaterial, launching in the UK in 2027. He has spent fifteen years building consumer brands across the UK, US and Australia.

Joshua Small is the founder of Kito, a Brighton-based mineral sunscreen brand built around chitosan, a fungal-origin biomaterial. Kito has recently joined 1% for the Planet as a member and will be launching in the UK & US in 2027. Before Kito, Joshua spent fifteen years in senior brand, creative and commercial roles at consumer businesses across the UK, US and Australia, including HIPPEAS, Project Blank, Seven Miles Coffee Roasters and Extract Coffee Roasters. He has also worked as a creative consultant for various specialty coffee roasters and as a freelance photographer for brands, bands and parties around the world.
